About Junagadh Agriculture University:

JAU is the name with Junagadh Agriculture University generally known as. As the name suggests itself it’s an agriculture university located in Junagadh, Gujarat state, India. Well, if we take a look at the history it was started in 1960. After that in 1967, it was associated with Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. In the year 1968, this association transferred to Saurashtra University.

In the year 2004, the GAU divided in four universities including Anand Agricultural University, Junagadh Agricultural University, Navsari Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University under Gujarat Agricultural Universities Act, 2004. JAU is one of the four universities. So on May 1, 2004, JAU came into existence.

JAU is well equipped with modern facilities like Laboratory, Sports, Extra Curricular facilities, and hostel too. JAU offers education in agriculture and related sciences. They also offer opportunities to start your career. The teaching in JAU consists of basically four faculties. They are agriculture, agricultural engineering, fisheries and postgraduate studies. UPSC Examination Pattern:

There are two phases of UPSC examinations consist of the preliminary round followed by the mains. The Preliminary exam consists of the objective type of questions which test a candidate on two papers, General Studies, and Aptitude. Civil Services Mains examination being a subjective paper assesses a candidate through nine papers and an interview.

The entire process for UPSC exam from the notification of the Preliminary examination test dates to the declaration of the UPSC results takes almost a year. Based on this Examination process all the eligible candidates can apply for UPSC Recruitments and jobs.

Eligibility, Age Limit and Number of attempts:

Candidates must be graduates or above. Also, the candidates who are about to appear for their final graduation exams are also eligible to appear for this examination.

For open category candidates, the maximum number of attempts permitted is six. OBC candidates have nine attempts permitted. There is no limit on the number of attempts for SC, ST candidates.

If we talk about the age limit then the minimum age limit for candidates is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years. However, the upper age limit is further relaxed by 5 years and 3 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories respectively. About Navsari Agriculture University:

People also know Navsari Agricultural University as NAU. Since May 1, 2004, NAU of former Gujarat Agricultural University has been awarded the degree of a fully fledged independent State Agricultural University.

The organizational structure of NAU:

Head of the university known as chancellor. From the head of the department to vise chancellor, all need to report the head of the university. There are different departments for different matters.

The Reserve Bank of India Job Vacancies: RBI is a central banking institution of India which controls monetary policy for the nation. It was established on 1st April 1935 under the Government of India act. Initially, it was a private bank. Since 1949, it is fully owned by the Government of India.

Structure of RBI

The RBI is governed by a central board of directors. Directors of the board are appointed by the Government according to the act. The board includes ten non-official nominated directors from various fields and four directors from local boards, one each for the four zonal regions.

Each member is appointed for a period of four years. Each Member of RBI is selected by its recruitment Procedure.

The RBI is headed by a Governor. There are up to four Deputy Governors.

The RBI has four zonal offices: for North zone in Delhi, South zone in Chennai, East in Kolkata and West in Mumbai.

It has 19 regional offices and 10 sub-offices. There is four zonal training center at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi.

College of Agricultural Banking and Reserve Bank of India Staff College are part of the Reserve Bank. The other three autonomous establishments are National Institute for Bank Management, Indira Gandhi Institute for Development Research (IGIDR) and Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT).

Main Functions of RBI

  • The monetary policy of India is formulated, implemented and monitored by the RBI.
  • It ensures that price remains stable and adequate flow of credit to productive sectors is maintained.
  • As a regulator and supervisor of the financial system, RBI sets parameters of banking and financial operations.
  • In order to manage foreign exchange, it facilitates external trade and payment.
  • It issues currency for the country in order to provide the public adequate quantity of supplies of currency notes and coins.
  • It performs many promotional functions that support national objectives.
  • It acts as a banker to the government and banker to the banks. It lends to the commercial banks to help them meet depositors’ demands and reserve requirements for the long term. RBI charges the banks interest for this and it is called bank rate or repo rate. If the RBI wants to increase the liquidity and money supply in the market, it reduces the bank rate and in order to reduce the liquidity and money supply, it increases the bank rate.

The RBI is active in promoting financial inclusion policy and its decisions are one of the key factors in determining the economy of India.

About Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force:

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force is generally known as ITBP. This police force was mainly established with the purpose of Indo China border. On 24th October 1962, it was formed. Currently, it is covering about 3488 km of area. The main focus of ITBP is from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh.

It is a multi-dimensional force. It is basically a mountain trained Force where most of the officers & men are well-trained Mountaineers and Skiers. May be you are surprised knowing that these men and officers have scaled more than 140 Himalayan peaks together with Mount Everest Four times.

In some of the sensitive areas of borders, ITBP battalions are arranged for CI OPS / IS / VIP security duties. For these duties, they are recruiting soldiers via Indo – Tibetan Border Police Force Recruitment Procedure.

Our brave soldiers face many difficulties in such areas on duty. They often face high-speed storms, snow storms, flood, and landslides. These areas are very high to the sea level and extreme cold. The organizational structure of ITBP:

From 1962 till 1983, It was headed by Inspectors General of Police (IGs). These IGs are drawn from the IPS. After 1983, ITBP head to Director General (DG). Currently, ITBP has 16 DG/IGs and over 40 DIGs. Head office of ITBP is situated in New Delhi, India.

The union home minister is responsible for IPBP operations. We can say that Central Armed Police Forces is the parent agency of ITBP. Name of the current Director General of ITBP is Krishna Chaudhary.
