DIDCL is the Abbreviation of Dholera Industrial City Development Limited. It is located in the Gandhinagar City of Gujarat State. In 2016 it was founded and formed by Gujarat Government.

DIDCL is the part of Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR). DSIR is nothing but Greenfield Industrial City planned and located approximately 100 km South West of Ahmedabad.

To develop DSIR the Government of India (through DMIC Trust) and the Government of Gujarat (through DSIRDA) formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

SPV is known as DIDCL. The Dholera Industrial City Development Limited is made up of a 51% stake of the Government of Gujarat through DSIRDA and a 49% stake of Government of India through DMIC Trust.

Almost 6,000 corers are allocated for DIDCL. Till now 900 corers is already been released by the DMIC Trust against equity contribution for Activation Area work. The equity on part of the Government of Gujarat through DSIRDA is in form of land, which is allocated to SPV DICDL.
