About Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission:

GSBTM Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM) was formed by Gujarat Government under the sponsorship of the Department of Science and Technology. The State Government of Gujarat has identified Biotechnology as an impending tool for development.   • Development of molecular markers by transcriptome sequencing in Acacia catechu and its cryopreservation
  • Development of molecular markers by transcriptome sequencing in Govagiri Bamboo and its cryopreservation
  • Studies on Post harvest losses in food grains due to Insect and Microbial communities (GGI)
  • Sex determination in Date palm via EST SSR elucidated through Transcriptome Sequencing of pollen grains (GGI)
  • Transcriptome analysis of Taverniera cuneifolia (GGI)
  • Survey of State Biotech Academia
  • Survey of State Biotech Industry and many more.

For all-round development of tribal areas of Gujarat, GTDC adopted the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) Strategy. Under this Tribal Sub Plan, an almost entire tribal peopled area of Gujarat has been covered. About Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation:

Civil Services Mains examination being a subjective paper assesses a candidate through nine papers and an interview.

The entire process for UPSC exam from the notification of the Preliminary examination test dates to the declaration of the UPSC results takes almost a year. Based on this Examination process all the eligible candidates can apply for UPSC Recruitments and jobs.

Eligibility, Age Limit and Number of attempts:

Candidates must be graduates or above. Also, the candidates who are about to appear for their final graduation exams are also eligible to appear for this examination.

For open category candidates, the maximum number of attempts permitted is six. OBC candidates have nine attempts permitted. There is no limit on the number of attempts for SC, ST candidates.

If we talk about the age limit then the minimum age limit for candidates is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years. However, the upper age limit is further relaxed by 5 years and 3 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories respectively.
